Export to Movie

Export to Movie patch creates movie from input images.

You can drop your whole composition into “Render in Image” patch and connect it with “Export to Movie” to create a movie of your composition.

Better performance, on basic test composition 720x480 frame drops are close to nil. tip: when creating Clear patch inside 'Render to Image' go to it's color input parameter (it's black as default, but...) make sure you change opacity to 100%, as it's 0% as default (qc bug?).

Instructions

  1. Download most recent file using above link
  2. Extract content (you will see single *.plugin file)
  3. Copy this file to:
    • ~/Library/Graphics/Quartz Composer Plug-Ins (~ sign stands for home directory, so it is /Users/YOUR_USERNAME/Library/Graphics/Quartz Composer Plug-Ins)
    • or, for system wide installation (for all users) you can copy this plugin to /Library/Graphics/Quartz Composer Plug-Ins
